FUTUREPROOF [ 2024 Residency ]

Throughout 2024, I ran a monthly gig series at RYANS N16 on Stoke Newington Church Street that platformed original contemporary jazz & jazz adjacent music.

Most gigs fell on the first Wednesday of the month & I dubbed the night 'FUTUREPROOF'.

The programme promoted groups that were playing original & progressive compositions, trying out new material or experimenting with different personnel.

FUTUREPROOF gave rise to several debut performances for bands that would later in the year take their music around the country.

In equal measure, we regularly had a formidable collection of musicians from the London scene forming unique & uncompromising line-ups exclusively for a FUTUREPROOF date.
